I got the 2009 supercharged version with modifications making 600 hp in car. Only problems are dashboard peeling up and the damn tire pressure warning light is on. It's an awesome car even used if you can find one under 100k miles in good shape.

The 2nd and 3rd generations are better looking than this one.

While those seats look amazing they are one of the most uncomfortable seats I have sat in. Very stiff, barely any cushion. I cant drive more than an hour in them.

I kinda like it. Has some similarities to the 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Now the Xterra is about 10" longer than the Jeep but other than that pretty much the same size. Would love to drive one to see for myself how it handles.

Get the Six Speed Manual Transmission & your 'Fun Quotient' increases nicely. Remove the rear seat & you have about ((65 cubic feet)) of cargo space ! What a great in-town grocery getter & pet hauler ! That 'quirky design' will translate into a 'collector car' someday....

I picked up an '09 Cube recently, as I have rheumatoid arthritis and my daily driving is just basically to doc appts., hardware store runs, local shopping or taking the dogs to the groomer. I don't have to fight getting in as I do in my Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. The dogs have more space to spread out as they ride with me and it is easier to load and unload them than when they sat on the bench seat of my pickup. So far, it has driven just fine and actually is comfortable. With doing mainly intown driving, it performs very well, but I didn't find any issues with it on the highway, either. I am not a speed demon, but it moved about just fine for my needs. Hoping it lasts a long time, as there is really very little in the way of repairs and all, since it went out of production in 2014 in the USA. Very few Cube forums or groups left, too, other than overseas. I call it my Dog Mobile or Dog Taxi, as that is what I plan on using it for quite a bit. My dogs love the thing. Thanks for posting this video. Not sure I agree with all the evaluations about it, but to each their own in deciding what they like about it or not.

It's basically a Corolla wagon...Great utility space! With seats down including front passenger seat you can haul 8ft long items! Rear window is large and once you position your mirrors you're good.
